Whether you call them donuts or doughnuts, there’s plenty to love about making your own. Mix, rest, shape, proof and fry, then get stuck into the fun part: choosing your toppings or fillings. 

Your choice: yeast or sourdough

Use the yeast included in a separate sachet, or make sourdough donuts with your own sourdough starter. This mix can be used with either approach.

For sourdough, follow a suitable sourdough donut method rather than swapping starter directly for yeast.

Yeast-method quantities

  • 500 g mix: 10 g instant dry yeast and 240–250 g water.
  • 1 kg mix: 20 g instant dry yeast and 480–500 g water.
  • 2 kg mix: 40 g instant dry yeast and 960–1,000 g water.

Bring on the cinnamon sugar

Keep it classic with cinnamon sugar, go glossy with a glaze, or finish with chocolate and sprinkles. Your donuts, your call. Toppings are not included.

📦 Where do you ship from?
We ship all orders from our home base in Port Macquarie to the rest of Australia.

🚚 How long does shipping take?
Standard delivery within Australia usually takes 2–8 business days. Rural areas may take a little longer, up to 15 days. You’ll receive tracking info once your order is dispatched.

🚚 How well do the live starters travel?
We routinely post our live starters from NSW to remote WA and the NT and have not encountered any issues with activity upon feeding after arriving at their new home.

🌍 Do you ship internationally?
We only ship within Australia.

💸 How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location and order size. We offer free shipping on orders of $125 AUD or more weighing 9 kg or less. Orders over 9 kg are excluded from free shipping.

📬 When will my order be sent?
Orders are typically packed and shipped within 12-48 hrs after payment. You'll get an email with tracking as soon as it's on its way.
